Reclamations
GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS
- Kuomiokoski Oy grants a warranty for its first-grade products:
-Footwear: 1 year
-Outsoles of footwear: 2 years
-Clothing: 1 year - The warranty covers color, manufacturing, and material defects.
- The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of the original product. The warranty period for a replacement or repaired product continues according to the original product’s warranty. The warranty period can be verified by a purchase receipt, bank statement, or credit card payment. If the customer cannot provide such evidence, the warranty period starts from the product’s manufacturing date marked on it.
- Claims for defect correction must be made immediately or within 14 days of discovering the defect.
- Kuomiokoski Oy is not responsible for defects caused by:
-Product misuse
-Product storage errors
-Normal aging, wear, and fatigue of materials
-Failure to follow washing and drying care instructions - Kuomiokoski Oy will, at its own cost, rectify defects mentioned in point 2 during the warranty period either by providing a new product or repairing the complained product.
- Kuomiokoski Oy does not grant a warranty for its seconds.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING A FOOTWEAR COMPLAINT (CONSUMER CUSTOMER)
For purchases from a retailer
- Check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
- If the warranty terms are met, submit your reclamation to the place of purchase.
For purchases from Kuoma.fi online store or Kuoma's factory store (in Kuortti)
- Check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
- If the warranty terms are met, download the reclamation form by clicking here and complete it. Customer contact details will be used solely for handling the complaint.
- Take photographs of the product as per the instructions below. Also, photograph the color of the insole in the footwear structure. All Kuoma footwear have 1-2 removable insoles and the insole you need to take a picture of can be found under the removable insoles. If the removable insole is very tightly attached, you may use a knife tip to help remove it. If the requested photos are not attached to the reclamation, customer service will contact the customer to request the photos before the reclamation can be processed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING A CLOTHING RECLAMATION (CONSUMER CUSTOMER)
For purchases from a retailer
- Check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
- If the warranty terms are met, submit your reclamation to the place of purchase.
For purchases from Kuoma.fi online store or Kuoma's factory store (in Kuortti)
- Check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
- If the warranty terms are met, download the reclamation form by clicking here and complete it. Please also include your phone number on the form. Customer contact details will be used solely for handling the reclamation.
- Take photographs of the product as per the instructions below and attach them to the form. If photos are not attached to the reclamation, customer service will contact the customer to request the photos before the reclamation can be processed.

- Kuomiokoski customer service will process the reclamation within 5 business days.
