Reclamations
GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS
- Kuomiokoski Oy grants a warranty for its first-grade products:
-Footwear: 1 year
-Outsoles of footwear: 2 years
-Clothing: 1 year - The warranty covers color, manufacturing, and material defects.
- The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of the original product. The warranty period for a replacement or repaired product continues according to the original product’s warranty. The warranty period can be verified by a purchase receipt, bank statement, or credit card payment. If the customer cannot provide such evidence, the warranty period starts from the product’s manufacturing date marked on it.
- Claims for defect correction must be made immediately or within 14 days of discovering the defect.
- Kuomiokoski Oy is not responsible for defects caused by:
-Product misuse
-Product storage errors
-Normal aging, wear, and fatigue of materials
-Failure to follow washing and drying care instructions - Kuomiokoski Oy will, at its own cost, rectify defects mentioned in point 2 during the warranty period either by providing a new product or repairing the complained product.
- Kuomiokoski Oy does not grant a warranty for its seconds.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING A FOOTWEAR CLAIM (CONSUMER)
If purchased from a retailer
1. Please check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
2. If the warranty terms are met, the claim must be made directly at the place of purchase.
If purchased from the Kuoma.fi online store or the Kuoma Factory Outlet (Kuortti)
- Please check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
- Carefully fill out the claim form below. Customer information is used only for processing the claim.
- If you are filling out the form on a mobile device, you can attach the requested photos
directly without saving them first. - If any required photo is missing, Customer Service will request it before the claim can be
processed.
Required photos for footwear claims:
- Side view of the whole shoe
- Full-length view of the sole
- Close-up of the defect/issue
- Proof of purchase (receipt)
- Photo of the insole board (colour)
Tip: Kuoma shoes have 1–2 removable insoles. The insole board is located underneath them. If the insole is firmly attached, you can carefully lift it using, for example, the tip of a
blunt knife.
3. Submit the form by clicking “Send.” The form will be automatically forwarded to Kuoma Customer Service.
4. Kuoma Customer Service will process the claim within 5 business days.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING A CLOTHING CLAIM (CONSUMER)
If purchased from a retailer
1. Please check Kuoma’s warranty terms.
2. If the warranty terms are met, the claim must be made directly at the place of purchase.
If purchased from the Kuoma.fi online store or the Kuoma Factory Outlet (Kuortti)
