The online shop’s delivery terms and payment methods

Kuoma sells products to private individuals of at least 18 years of age in Mainland Finland, Estonia and Latvia. Please note that orders at the kuoma.fi webshop can only be placed by non-trading individuals. Therefore, Kuoma will not accept orders placed by companies, associations or any other kind of legal entity.

You may access the Kuoma online shops delivering to other countries by choosing another shipping country on the site.

The product prices include value added tax. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.

Product information and availability

All descriptions of Kuoma products are subject to change at any time, without notice, at our sole discretion.

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of the Kuoma products that appear on the webshop. Because the actual colors you see depend on your monitor, We cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

Although Kuoma tries to indicate the current availability of the products accurately at the webshop, Kuoma does not gurarantee the availability of the products advertised at the webshop. All orders are subject to Kuoma´s acceptance and availability.

Kuoma reserves the right without any prior notice or liability to change, suspend or discontinue the manufacture and sale of any Kuoma product.

Kuoma is entitled to change the prices without any prior notice. Changed prices apply to orders placed after the price change has become effective.


For ordering Products at the shop you must

  • inform us of your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other required information for the transaction

  • be of full legal age (18 years or more) and

  • be the lawful owner of the debit/credit card used for the transaction.

If you create your own account at the Kuoma webshop, you will at the same time create personal user identification and a password. You must maintain your user identification and password protected at all times. You are personally responsible for all transactions concluded using your account and identifications, and shall inform Kuoma without delay in case your user identification and/or password have come to the attention of a third party, in which case Kuoma reserves the right to close down or delete your user identification without any prior notice.

Products can be ordered at Kuoma webshop by adding them to the shopping cart. An email confirmation will be sent for all orders. Customers commit to following the valid delivery terms when placing each order. All orders will be processed confidentially.

The information provided by each customer can be used in the delivery of products, when sending special offers for marketing purposes, and if there are any problems in the delivery of products. Customers may also be sent newsletters or special offers by email. Customers can always refuse to receive any marketing messages and similar by indicating this when placing an order, or later by emailing markkinointi@kuoma.fi.

We will send an order confirmation by email, including:

  • order number
  • order summary (product information, payment information, shipping and billing information)
  • a link to track the shipment of your order
  • Kuoma customer service contact information

Payment methods Finland

Products and their delivery costs will be paid for when placing an order. The online shop accepts the following payment methods:

Online Banks: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Savings Bank, Oma Savings Bank, POP Bank, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken and S-Bank


Invoices and part payments: Walley, OP Invoices and Jousto

Card payments: Visa, Mastercard and American Express

Payments are made through Paytrail’s website.

The provider of payment transfers and the payment service is Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail is indicated as the payment recipient in account statements and card invoices, and it transmits payments to the seller. Paytrail is an authorized payment service provider.

Delivery method, time and costs

Deliveries are made on working days. Products will be shipped from the Kuoma warehouse within 2–7 days of receiving and accepting an order. Note that during holidays or campaigns the delivery time can be longer. Orders will be delivered to the delivery point you have selected, using the delivery method you have selected.  Delivery costs depend on the selected delivery method.  Delivery costs and options will be presented on the shopping cart and payment page. 

We use Shipit Ab Oy’s delivery service. For Finland, carriers include Posti and Postnord. Posti can deliver products to the doorstep, a post office or a parcel locker. Postnord delivery options include home delivery or delivery to a service point or parcel locker.

For Estonia and Latvia, carriers include Posti Baltic and Postnord. Postnord has home delivery and parcel locker. Posti Baltic has parcel locker.

Delivery costs, Finland:

  • Posti parcel (post offices and parcel lockers) €5,90

  • Posti home delivery €9,90

  • Postnord MyPack Collect (to Postnord service point or parcel lockers) €5,90

Please note that during peak times, such as before Christmas and during the Black Friday campaign, the selected pick-up point may be full and the transport company will have to take the shipment to an alternate pick-up point instead of the original pick-up point. In particular, the most popular pick up points can easily fill up, in which case some of the shipments addressed to them have to be taken to a reserve pick-up point near the machine. The large size of the package can also change the pick-up point, because large packages may not fit in the machine. So you should also pick up the packages as soon as possible, so that space is freed up at the pick-up point for the following packages.

Customer complaints

An order confirmation will be delivered with each order. It acts as a receipt and warranty certificate. If you detect an error in your Kuoma footwear and you purchased the product from a retailer, contact the retailer for further instuctions. Only if you purchased the product from Kuoma online store, www.kuoma.fi or from Kuortti Factory shop you can fill out the form on this site: https://kuoma.fi/en/pages/reklamaatiot and send it to Kuoma customer service by email asiakaspalautukset@kuoma.fi. Kuomiokoski Oy will make an assessment of the grounds of your complaint and the condition of the product. At the same time, you will also be given instructions on how to proceed. Questions on the complaint form can also be answered freely in an e-mail message.
Requests for error corrections must be submitted immediately or no later than 14 days after detecting an error. The product liability covers any material and manufacturing errors in products.  The product liability is valid for 12 months from the purchasing date. The product liability does not cover wear, material aging and fatigue, or any damage due to an incorrect or negligent use or storage or non-compliance with care instructions for washing and drying footwear. 

Terms and conditions of product returns

Customers have a 14-day product return right as laid down in the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Customers can return products free of charge. However, the original delivery costs will not be refunded. The product return right only applies to unused and saleable products in their original packaging. We will not accept any products returned more than 14 days after the receipt of the delivery. You can return unopened and unused products following the return instructions, and the online shop will compensate you for the products, after which you can place a new order. 

Return instructions

Products can be returned within 14 days. To process and accept your product return and provide compensation for it, please read the terms and conditions of product returns in detail. 

Fill in the product return form delivered with your product accurately. Place the products in the packaging in which they were delivered to you. Make sure that any product labels and other product information are attached to the products. Place the return form inside the packaging, and close the packaging. Attach the waybill for product returns delivered with your order to the top of the packaging. Packages delivered by Posti must be returned to a Posti outlet. Packages delivered by Postnord must be returned to a Postnord service point. Keep the product return receipt given to you. It confirms that you have returned the products.

Failure to pick up a parcel

The failure to pick up a parcel is not the same as a product return. If you do not pick up your parcel in time (Posti or Postnord: within seven days), your parcel will be sent back to Kuomiokoski. We will charge €20 for each parcel not picked up. The charge consists of actual delivery, re-storage and other costs. The charge will be reduced from the amount refunded to you.

Problems regarding deliveries and faulty products

If an incorrect product has been delivered to you, you must notify us of the situation immediately and no later than within 14 days by emailing kuomashop@kuoma.fi.

If a parcel has been damaged during its delivery, a customer complaint must be submitted immediately to the logistics partner.  All customer complaints must be submitted through Shipit. If you need to submit a customer complaint, send it to reklamointi@shipit.fi.

We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. Before placing an order, customers must read the currently valid delivery terms. Kuomiokoski Oy processes all customer information confidentially.

Applicable Law

These general terms are subject to the laws of Finland. We try to resolve any potential disputes directly with the customer. If resolving the dispute through the internal complaints handling process is not successful, the customer can contact the Consumer Dispute Board www.kuluttajariita.fi or the European online dispute resolution ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
